This is a fixed term post for 12 months to cover the needs of the service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual, to join the Clinical Nurse Specialists for Colorectal at the Royal Gwent Hospital
The successful candidate will have the ability to work well as part of a team, be flexible to the needs of the service and able to demonstrate a commitment to achieving high quality standards of work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required as you will liaise with staff and patients.
Main duties of the job
To provide a full confidential support service to the clinical nurse specialists and team. Carry out duties as defined by the nurses and General Surgery Department.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
This is a fixed term post for 12 months to cover the needs of the service.

- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel packages

- RSA II/III Typing or equivalent
- Training/competent using WelshPAS, Clinical Work Station and MedSecs
