A fantastic new vacancy has arisen  to join our Operations team at Bury St Edmunds,  We are recruiting experienced administrators to support the smooth running of our ambulance stations. 

In this critical role you will support the Operational Managers with their administration,  in order to allow them greater capacity to carry out their broader operational duties.  

Applicants who were unsuccessful for this position within the last 3 months need not apply.

Main duties of the job

Your main responsibilities will include looking after all the administrative duties to facilitate the smooth running of the stations. 

Main duties include; 

  • Being the single point of contact for staff queries 
  • Liaising with Payroll 
  • Minute Taking 
  • Facilitating planning for staff to attend training
  • Produce reports as and when required

Essential Skills: 

  • Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification, or significant equivalent previous proven experience
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative environment and working with computerised data
  • Clear communicator with good writing, data entry, and telephone

Desirable Skills: 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and
  • Understanding of Data Protection
  • Experience of working in a health care environment

Essential criteria
  • Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification, or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative environment and working with computerised data systems.
  • Trained or willing to work towards Loggist training.

  • Experience of working in a health care environment.
