Are you a dynamic and experienced nurse leader passionate about mental health?
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Matron to join our Community Teams based in the West Suffolk locality, overseeing our Children and Young People teams, serving the local populations of Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket.
In this pivotal role, you will:
✅ Provide expert clinical leadership across Children’s, and Specialist Suffolk Wide Neurodevelopmental services & MH in Schools
✅ Ensure the highest standards of care within community settings, supporting individuals in their own homes and local environments
✅ Drive service improvements, champion patient safety, and enhance care pathways
✅ Lead, develop, and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, person-centred care

As Matron, you will work closely with the locality leadership team to ensure that high quality care is delivered within your services and will provide professional leadership to the nursing workforce.
You will promote a culture of learning and openness and ensure clinical staff have the knowledge, capability, systems and support to deliver evidence based care and embed lessons learned in practice for the improvement of patient experience.

**This post attracts a recruitment premium of £3,000 (pro-rata for part time roles). This is a one off payment with half paid on appointment and half paid after the completion of a satisfactory probation period (6 months). The premium is taxable. Please note that should you leave employment, or choose to move to an alternative post within the Trust that does not attract this recruitment premium, you will be required to reimburse all or some it, as follows: 100% of the value of the premium in the first 12 months; 50% of the value of the premium in the period 12 months to 2 years following appointment.
