 Band 3 Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

We're currently looking for an experienced Healthcare assistant to join our busy Admissions Unit. This is a fast paced role requiring focus, fortitude, and a proactive approach. 

You'll be part of a supportive, values - led team committed to delivering safe, high quality care in challenging situations. We welcome individuals who are hard working, kind and eager to learn.

Our dedicated education team offers ongoing training and development to help you grow. If you thrive under pressure, take pride in your work, we'd love to hear from you. 

Applications are welcome from individuals who may not meet all of the desired experience criteria. In such cases, candidates may be appointed to a band 2 position, with the opportunity for progression upon sucessful completion of additional skills training,

Main duties of the job

• Proven experience as an HCA, ideally within acute or emergency settings
• A proactive, can do attitude - you notice what needs doing and get it done
• A genuine interest in ongoing learning and development
• A team player who is supportive, respectful and keeps things positive and professional 
• Someone kind, reliable and focused on delivering excellent care
