The James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
This position provide an excellent opportunity for the sucesfull candidate to actively contribute to a modern Obstetric & Gynaecological service within this highly regarded Trust with its wide range of acute and community services, which will afford high professional visibility.
Our Maternity Unit delivers about 2400 deliveries per annum supported by level 2 NICU. There is an operational maternity pre assessment unit and also midwifery led birthing unit adjacent to the delivery suite. There is a plan to open a four bedded transitional care unit and build up.
The James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (JPUH) is forward looking and is highly regarded in the region with an ongoing programme of development in many areas of its services. The successful candidates will join a team of 9 consultants, working a full range of obstetric and gynaecology services in East Norfolk.
James Paget University Hospital and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital together formed the East Norfolk/Waveney Cancer Network and major clinical teaching side for the medical school based at the University Of East Anglia.There will be opportunities for the candidates to become involved in the undergraduate programme.
