We require current NMC Registration

Supporting and assisting Clinicians in a variety of Surgical Clinics, over two areas within the hospital. This will involve different  surgical specialties, and Oncology Clinics.

 

Main duties of the job

The main role of the post is to prepare  and  oversee clinics, this will involve ensuring they are running efficiently, using the resources available, supporting clinicians and anticipating their requirements.

Having responsibility for HCA's in the clinical areas, and supporting them whilst on duty.

Ensuring the patients are cared for to the highest standards, which are underpinned by the Trusts Values and Behaviours

The main role of the post is to prepare  and  oversee clinics, this will involve ensuring they are running efficiently, using the resources available, supporting clinicians and anticipating their requirements.

Having responsible for HCA's in the clinical areas, and supporting them whilst on duty.

Ensuring the patients are cared for to the highest standards, which are underpinned by the Trusts Values and Behaviors.

We are responsible for ensuring all our patients are appraised of any further treatments or and investigations and ensure they are well informed  about each step

Education and qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
Desirable criteria
  • Undertaken mentorship training

Experience and knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Relevant experience of looking after patients in a healthcare environment
Desirable criteria
  • Previous NHS experience within last 12 months
  • Previous experience within an Acute setting
  • Broad clinical knowledge base
