Deputy Business Support Manager

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing, older people's and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.
At any one time, around 23,000 people in Norfolk and Suffolk are receiving care and attention from the Trust. Do you have an interest in data, information and experience in leading a team? Are you looking to take the next step into Leadership and Management or develop your skills? If your answer is yes, we would very much welcome your application to undertake the role of Deputy Business Support Manager.
We are recruiting a substantive Deputy Business Support Manager to support the Business Support Manager and Performance and Information Business Support Manager, as well our Service Managers for Specialist Services in Norfolk.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail, who can effectively manage multiple tasks, work on their own initiative and prioritise their own workload. The successful candidate will be flexible, have experience in business and performance management, be well-organised, motivated and dedicated.
This post will work closely with our Performance & Information Business Support Manager and Business Support Manager to support the current Specialist Services Care Group.
Previous administration experience is essential and experience of working with senior colleagues, use of ICT applications/packages, diary management, data and excel presentations, minute taking, line management and knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
Experience of working with Patient Administrative Systems would be an advantage.

- Supporting performance reporting across the Care Group
- Assisting senior managers and teams to own their data and information
- Line manage Business Support colleagues.
- Assist with recruitment under the direction of the Business Support Manager,
- Undertake monthly Management Supervision; experience in undertaking difficult and sensitive conversations.
- Promote adherence to Trust Policy, support compliance in all areas
- Working with Business Support Managers to share good learning and implement new solutions to drive performance in all areas, inc data quality and continually seek ways to improve care
- The role requires initiative, discretion, attention to detail and the ability to work with minimum supervision to deadlines.
- Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills are essential to the success of this role.
