Job overview
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Out of hours nursing team .
The working hours are 8 pm to 8 am . The role consists of 3 components , Driving , HCA nursing and co-ordination . Co-ordination is utilising IT and assistive technology like Web fleet
Main duties of the job
To Drive Registered nurses and to support with patient care as required . This may be personal care or repositioning a patient .

You must be able to use your own initiative, work under pressure, keep to deadlines and have excellent driving, organisational,
interpersonal and communication skills. You should be flexible and able to work as part of a team.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Good general education e.g. GCSE’s in Maths and English
- Full, clean driving licence
Desirable criteria
- NVQ 2 in Health care Social care, or equivalent.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Driving with a relevant level of experience and ability
- Previous experience in health/care setting
Desirable criteria
- Experience in customer care
- Knowledge of the local area

- Concentrate when undertaking patient care & inputting data/patient records

- Able to kneel, bend & stoop, and work in cramped environments
- Able to manoeuvre limbs of around 5-6 kg
- Able to manoeuvre patients using handling aids.
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of additional specialist areas through in-house training & short courses, including: Palliative care, long term conditions, Diabetes management
- Be aware of Assistive Technology
