Main duties of the job
This role is to provide a comprehensive administrative service to speciality teams, who work at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and West Norfolk community.
Main role will be achieving compliance with Patient Centre and Stroke audit data.

Education/ Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Touch typing/keyboard skills - RSA II or equivalent GCSE or equivalent - English language
Desirable criteria
- ECDL
- ITQ
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of using Windows and Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Audio typing
Desirable criteria
- Experience using data bases, PowerPoint and Access
- Experience using other software - TIARA and PatientCentre, web based data
Skills, Abilities & Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Previous experience with dealing with members of the public
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Good literacy/numeracy skills
- Ability to problem solve

- Previous knowledge of medical terminology

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
