** This is a Fixed Term Contract / Secondment opportunity for 12 months **

The COVID Testing Team was established to provide an efficient and effective swabbing service for Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) staff, keyworkers and patients. The team is valuable in ensuring multiple workforces are kept operational by using an accurate swabbing and results service. Alongside this, the team maintains the trusts commitment to continuing with patient care by running the non-symptomatic patient swabbing service both through the drive-through centre and within the community.

The Test Operative will work as part of the COVID Testing Team to safely and correctly administer swab tests to people who visit the test site, within the community and supporting the overall testing process. The post holder will maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Covid Testing Site Supervisor.

  • The swabbing service is run over 7 days.
  • Working hours are subject to change and dependent on swab site or community working.
