The Trust is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit Consultant Psychiatrist for Rollesby Ward PICU, part of the Acute Services in Central Norfolk.  This is an existing post that has become vacant as a result of resignation.

Rollesby ward is based at Hellesdon Hospital, in Norwich.  The ward has capacity to offer a ten-bedded service for women who require stepped-up care.  The ward opened as a female PICU in February 2023.

Main duties of the job

The advertised role will provide clinical care and leadership for the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (Rollesby Ward), part of the Acute Services in Central Norfolk.

The post holder must be registered with the GMC. The post holder must also have an entry on the GMC Specialist Register (CCST) in Adult Psychiatry (or within three months of completion of CCST). Applications from those wishing to work flexibly or those wishing to develop academic or special interest sessions are welcomed.
