We are looking to recruit 2 x Clinical Support Workers to join our Blickling ward team based at Julian Hospital for a fixed term - 12 months (maternity cover).
Main duties of the job
You need to be kind, supportive and express the below listed qualities to provide the best care to our service users and their families:

- Be confident in talking with people and comfortable with helping people from diverse range of backgrounds, sexual orientation, culture, religion.
- Have the ability to empathise without giving advice before speaking with your clinical team
- Have non-judgmental attitude and be an active lister
- Be perceptive to notice changes
- Be calm in difficult circumstances or in crisis
- Be able to protect boundaries especially in distressing situations
- Have an awareness of and the ability to adhere to strict confidentiality rules
- Have a good awareness of safeguarding
Working for our organisation
You must be available to commit and work on a shift pattern, which includes days, nights, and weekends:
- 7.00 am - 19.30 pm
- 19.00 pm – 7.30 am
**** Unfortunately, we will NOT offer just nights or just weekend shifts.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Our primary focus is on collaborative working, placing great emphasis on patient centred care.
Blickling ward is a 18 bed ward for assessment and treatment. We care for older adults (female patients) who have a functional diagnosis. Often the patients also have complex presentations and a variety of physical health concerns. As a ward, we provide holistic patient centred care, specific to each individual.
