We are have an exciting opportunity to offer a 12 month secondment into a Community Matron position to enhance the safety, experience and outcomes of people using our TIDES service.
This opportunity is to join a new and growing service, which aims to help young people at risk of developing psychosis, who are known as experiencing an "At-Risk Mental State". The Therapeutic Interventions for Distressing unusual Experiences Service (TIDES) is part of the Norfolk and Waveney Early Intervention in Psychosis Service. We work therapeutically with young people and their families across the county to provide them with timely access to interventions to support them with their experiences.
This is a unique opportunity for somebody with a drive to embed high quality care to our cohort of service users, based on best practice and national guidance. The role will involve providing leadership as well as clinical support to the team whilst contributing to the implementation of strategic plans.
We are looking for a person who is kind and compassionate to others, and is proactive in helping people reach their potential whilst maintaining high quality care.
This is an exciting time for change within NSFT, this opportunity will benefit someone looking expand their already established nursing practice, knowledge and clinical leadership to embed and maintain effective systems for quality assurance and high standards clinical care

As Matron, you will be expected to demonstrate the qualities and skills associated with a clinical leadership role and be accountable for services meeting essential standards of care as outlined by the CQC as well as agreed local and national quality standards encompassing the following domains:

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Diploma level/Degree in relevant health/social care profession, eg RMN, RLDN OT, Social Worker.
- Current relevant registration with the NMC or HCPC
Desirable criteria
- Masters Level Degree or equivalent
Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant experience working within and managing mental health clinical services
- Significant experience of clinical performance management
- Significant general and operational management experience to include the management of a large multi-disciplinary group of staff – part of which to have been in the NHS

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
