Job overview

Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior PWP to join our busy and high-volume service in Norfolk and Waveney.

You’ll work in a large Senior PWP team supporting PWPs providing a range of NICE-approved psychosocial interventions for people aged 16 and upwards.

You’ll need to be passionate about providing an excellent client experience, committed to high standards of care and making a difference to service users.

This post is an excellent opportunity for an existing Senior PWP or a qualified PWP looking to develop.

The role is demanding and challenging role but well-supported and rewarding.

Regular travel to and around Norfolk is expected. And your contractual base will be our hub at Breckland Business Centre in Dereham.

Main duties of the job

The role predominantly involves providing regular case management supervision, and the provision of clinical skills training (group) as required, to qualified and trainee PWPs, in order to ensure the quality of the service at Step 2 is maintained, and that our PWPs are enabled to develop their clinical skills. The post holder will assist the leadership team in the development of the Low Intensity part of the service, under the direction of our Lead PWP, whilst helping the service achieve its required key performance indicators. The role will also include holding a small caseload of clients, delivering clinical interventions for up to one day per week.

The post-holder will be able to demonstrate experience of providing high volume, evidence-based practice in guided self-help using telephone and other methods of delivery, as well as an ability to lead others in a challenging environment
