Job overview

As the Team Administrator, you will provide administrative, typing and data support to the Team as directed by the Clinical Team Leader of the ADHD Service, Clinical staff and Senior Admin staff.  

Main duties of the job

Main responsibilities

  • Phoning Service Users on the wait list to book in their initial, review or follow up appointment. 
  • Receiving calls from Service Users on the wait list requesting position on wait list, asking for advice regarding referral, some patients in distress due to wait times and then passing this onto duty clinician. Service users actively working with the team however requesting a call from clinician.
  • Supporting in completing outcome letters. 
  • Support in booking/rearranging patient appointments for clinicians in the team. 
  • Sorting and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • To receive and process information from the teams including typing, photocopying and faxing documents. 
  • Support with distribution of letters to professionals referring individuals into our service. 
  • Attending meetings as required and appropriate to the role.
