In this post you’ll be providing admin support to the wider team in order for them to be able to provide an efficient service to our service users. . Our service offers a welcoming and supportive environment and

Main duties of the job

You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.

Training will be given, however previous administration experience is essential.

You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems. You will also be able to evidence working flexibly and have experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintain confidentiality.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Minute taking
  • Ordering
  • Recruitment / Interview support
  • Annual leave / sickness reporting
  • Recording supervisions / appraisals

·         NVQ Level 3 Business Administration or equivalent or willing to work towards

·         Secretarial experience at intermediate level

Desirable criteria

·         Knowledge of Trust electronic record system

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft packages or equivalent.

·         Maintaining administrative / secretarial systems.

·         Knowledge of NHS policy / procedures
