Job overview

We are seeking a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our friendly, nurse-led Haemodialysis Team at Easingwold Satellite Renal Unit—a 10-station unit caring for patients with chronic kidney disease. As part of York Renal Services, we work closely with units in York, Harrogate, and Scarborough (Fresenius-run).

We welcome enthusiastic, motivated nurses with strong communication and leadership skills. You’ll join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based, individualised care. While dialysis experience isn’t required, an interest in renal nursing is essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided by our team and Renal Clinical Educator.

Flexibility is key, as occasional cover at York or Harrogate may be needed. Participation in our limited out-of-hours on-call service is also expected.

The unit operates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 06:30–23:00, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 06:30–18:30 (closed Sundays). Please note: the site is not easily accessible by public transport.
