Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at HDH for a Business Manager. We are looking for someone who will support the Director team to achieve objectives, be highly motivated and experienced and able to work in a fast-paced environment, have knowledge of business/adminstrative principles and procedures and organise their own workload in a creative, committed and collaborative way in line with the Trust values, will support the team with a diverse range of activities to deliver the projects/programmes/objectives of the team.
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive business support service to the Executive and Non-executive Director Team. This will also include cover with the Corporate Affairs Team providing support to the Director Team and Company Secretary, to include: Financial Management:

Essential criteria
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent professional experience gained in a large complex organisation
- Evidence of commitment to continuing personal development
- Experience of managing budgets and controlling expenditure
- Demonstrable experience of leading and managing teams or projects
- Experience of developing business plans and or strategies
- Experience of working in an environment supporting Directors and Senior Leaders
Desirable criteria
- Training/experience gained in an NHS environment to post grad diploma level or equivalent training/experience
- General secretarial qualification or equivalent level of experience
