Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days)

The patients have all had an acute stroke and been recently discharged from the acute stroke unit. As part of the wider stroke neuro and amputee team you will assist patients to achieve their potential and return to living in the community.

Main duties of the job
You will carry out planned programmes of health care, under the supervision and direction of the Therapists within the Community Neuro and Stroke Team. The role involves delivering therapy interventions to patients within Harrogate District Hospital. You will support our cohort of patients to achieve their optimum level of independence and quality of life. To work under the guidance of the senior staff within the team and actively participate in continuous professional development and service improvement.

- Evidence of practical training or experience in health and social care
- Evidence of competence of patient assessment skills
- Evidence of extended skills and competencies
