Job overview
The successful applicant will help staff realise their potential, to identify and develop their Paediatric Nursing Skills.
You will responsible for developing, facilitating and implementing training days for department staff.
You will assist newly qualified staff with the trusts preceptorship programme and ensure appropriate clinical skills training takes place for all members of the nursing team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a enthusiastic Paediatric registered nurse to take on the role of Practice Educator on our Paediatric Ward
You will be organised, have excellent time management skills and the ability to multi task.
You will form links between the Paediatric Ward, Neonatal Unit, Emergency Department, and other departments across the trust to ensure the development of our nurses and care support workers is to the highest standard.

- Mentorship or teaching qualification

- First Degree in health related subject

- Post-NMC registration experience within clinical practice
- EPALS trained

- Leadership role / experience
