The Deputy Associate Director of Nursing/AHP will work closely with the departments, directorate and Trust wide professional teams to support the delivery of operational performance while ensuring quality and governance are maintained to the highest standards.
Reporting to the Directorate Quadrumvirate, with professional accountability to the Associate Director of Nursing , this role will support delivery of excellent care across the whole of the Care Groups but will specifically focus on leading Quality Improvement work through HDFT Impact. The post will support AHP's with the quality and safety agenda but will have no managerial oversight or responsibility.
The Deputy Associate Director of Nursing/AHP will ensure the patient is central to this work with quality, safety and effective clinical care at the forefront.
The post holder will be an experienced healthcare professional with clinical credibility and be visible to clinical areas. There is a requirement for the post holder to deputise for the Associate Director of Nursing as and when required.

- Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with current registration
- Recognised teaching / assessing qualification or demonstrable experience
- Recognised Leadership Qualification or demonstrable evidence of leadership in practice
- Masters in relevant subject or significant experience at senior Nursing / AHP level
