Job overview

Yorsexual health are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our well-established team in Harrogate.

Do you want to be part of a welcoming and supportive team? Then this is the job for you! 

This is an exciting opportunity to develop skills as the post is a progression from a Band 2 to Band 3 role within the service.  This contract is for 30 hours per week.

Please note that cross site travel is a requirement for this role.

Interviews for this position will be held in person ONLY. Remote interviews will not be available.

Main duties of the job

As a Healthcare Support Worker at Harrogate Hospital, you will be part of a multi-professional team providing high standards of care to our patients. You will maintain and promote patient independence and dignity to ensure each patient receives a positive experience. Please see the attached document ‘Healthcare Support Worker Key Duties’ to see a full list of key duties.

You must be able to commit to our Full Time HCSW Academy for the first 4 weeks of your employment with our Trust. Please note our HCSW Academy takes place at our training site in York. We are unable to provide travel options or reimburse travel costs for attendance at this.
