Are you looking for a new challenge within a care of the elderly environment?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Services Operative to join our friendly team on Cherry ward.

Cherry ward is a 28 bedded care of the elderly ward, specialising in patients with acute and chronic health conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's, diabetes and respiratory infections.

If you are looking for the opportunity to support our team with delivering high quality, safe patient care and promoting patient experience, we would love to hear from you!

If you are currently employed by the Trust and you wish to apply for this role on a secondment basis, please seek permission from your current line manager before applying for the post.

Main duties of the job

-To assist with the ward cleaning schedule and high touch areas

-Sanitise beds and participate in cleaning and remaking of these

-To ensure food standards are maintained in preparing beverages for patients and serving food and snacks.

-To assist patients in completing menus

-To participate in telephone enquires and offer guidance and support

-Assist with safely transporting patients to other areas, carry out house keeping tasks where required.

  • Reading and writing, plus basic numeric skills
