Job overview

Are you passionate about providing compassionate care and making a difference in patients' lives?

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Patient Services Assistants (PSA) on our new Enhanced Care unit at Scarborough Hospital.

As a PSA, you will be an integral member of our ward team, working closely with nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient-centred care. • Cleaning: Assist with ward cleaning schedules, sanitise beds and chairs, manage waste disposal, and restock supplies.
  • Food Service: Prepare and serve snacks and beverages, assist patients with menus, and support nutritional needs.
  • Portering Service: Transport patients, medical notes, and equipment safely within the hospital.
  • Front Desk: Handle face-to-face and telephone enquiries, direct visitors, and support volunteers.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards, and report any incidents or accidents.
