Job overview

Ready to make a difference in medical education?

Join our supportive team at Scarborough Hospital as a dedicated Administrator and become a valued member of our friendly Medical Education Team.

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, flexibility, and a calm, can-do attitude to a busy and rewarding role. If you're reliable, practical, and thrive in a team environment, we’d love to hear from you. While experience in a healthcare setting is a bonus, it’s not essential — what matters most is your commitment to excellence and your willingness to learn. Please note, this is an office-based role.

As a point of contact for the department, you’ll play a key part in delivering outstanding customer service. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Main duties of the job

As the post holder you will be expected to:

  • Administer and track trainer accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with national and local standards.
  • Organise trainer development courses, manage logistics, attendance, and documentation.
  • Handle enquiries and maintain professional communication with trainers and stakeholders.
  • Assist with meetings, correspondence, and feedback related to trainer accreditation.
  • Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and support audits and continuous improvement initiatives
