Job overview

Due to the development of Radiology Services at the new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Eastfield, Scarborough we have an exciting opportunity for an CT Team Manager to join the existing CT management team.

This post will be based at both the acute site at Scarborough hospital and at the CDC.

 The CT service on the acute site is delivered over a twenty-four-hour, seven day working shift pattern. The CT service at the CDC will initially be delivered over 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, with plans to extend service delivery in the future.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support the CT Principal Radiographer with workforce management and planning, operational delivery of the CT service, development, and implementation of CT standard operating procedures. The CT Team Manager will take a lead role in policy and documentation, protocol maintenance and development, providing a source of  technical expertise to the CT team members

Essential criteria
  • Relevant post qualification clinical experience relevant to specialist area of employment (CT) equivalent to post-graduate diploma
  • HCPC Registered Radiographer
Desirable criteria
  • Qualification in Leadership/management

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrable advanced knowledge of CT equipment
  • Demonstrable advanced knowledge of imaging technique in CT
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working in a client-driven/NHS environment
  • Demonstrate skills and experience in leadership and supervisory management
