This is a development role, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to develop into a full training role and the potential to progress into a higher banding role, with the right development and support. Your base will be in York but will have the opportunity to work across site to aid your development and team working

Main duties of the job
As a Junior Trainer/Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our training initiatives, training delivery and user support and ensuring smooth administrative processes, working along side the whole of the training team.
This role will primarily focus on providing administrative support to the training department and assisting in the delivery of our new starter and Dr Induction effective training programmes. You will have a development plan to ensure you are supported fully as a junior trainer, developing your facilitation and delivery skills, with the option of picking up an apprenticeship in learning and development.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all our administration processes are up to date and the required documentation is accurate, clear, and concise.

Essential criteria
- Educated to A level or equivalent or significant experience.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous Administrative experience (2 years minimum)
- Previous experience of dealing with sensitive and/or complex situations
- Demonstrable good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office
- Evidence of ability to learn new IT systems
Desirable criteria
- Experience in delivering training/ e-learning courses
- Experience of working within a healthcare environment
Knowledge & Skills

- Excellent communication skills- written and verbal
