Trosolwg o'r swydd

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic Consultant Urologist with a specialist interest in Female Urology, to join our expanding Urology team.

A Consultant is a senior and experienced clinician who works autonomously in one of the medical or surgical specialties and manages the delivery of care by other doctors (for example resident and some SAS doctors). Consultants serve as experts in their specialty and they have responsibility for the care of patients referred to them, even when care is carried out by others. A key aspect of the role is leading multidisciplinary teams delivering care. This involves being able to take an overview of the care pathway and managing other team members accordingly. Consultants are expected to be involved in the teaching and training of students and resident doctors, and to contribute to their specialty field through research and leadership.
