Job overview
Please do not apply unless you hold NMC registration, you are a student midwife or taking NMC pre-registration midwifery course.
Rotational Midwives required for Antenatal and Postnatal wards, Labour Ward, Fetal Health Unit and in the Community.
Rotational through Days, Nights, Weekends.
There is a current trial of Rotational Midwives providing an on call service on a voluntary basis, which will be discussed at the interview stage.

- UK NMC Registered Midwife
- Diploma / Degree level qualification or equivalent
Knowledge / experience
Essential criteria
- An Understanding of integrating theory and practice
- Understanding of current midwifery issues
- Knowledge and Understanding of Risk management
- Awareness of safeguarding
- Experience and confidence in working within the multidisciplinary team
- Awareness and understanding of KGH core values
Skills

- Excellent communication – verbal and written
- Basic IT Skills
