Based in the offices of Northamptonshire Health Charity you will support their fundraising and events teams.

Whether you're a social butterfly who loves engaging with people, a behind-the-scenes organiser with a knack for details, or someone who just wants to help by doing something positive we have a role for you.

Fundraising/Event Volunteer Opportunities

Do you enjoy working with a variety of different people? Are you passionate about making a difference? If so, we are looking for someone to join us as a Fundraising/Event Volunteer and help make a difference. Here’s some of what you will get up to:

  • Help by attending events and meeting with the public to spread the word about us and the amazing work we do.
  • Act as an ambassador for us and help increase our charity sign-ups.
  • Help out with collections and share promotional materials and charity information.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Fundraising/Event Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers that can help with some or all of the following:

  • Getting people involved in our fundraising events.
  • Assist with fundraising events, including, setup and breakdown, collecting money, and other tasks to support the team.
  • Engage with event attendees to promote the charity's mission and fundraising goals.
  • Thanking our supporters and attending presentations.
  • Help sign up people to the charity at our stand in the hospitals or at events.
  • Inspire people to support the charity.
  • Act as an ambassador at community events to promote the charity.
  • Organising local collections and support collecting tins from locations throughout the community.
  • Distribute promotional materials and provide information about the charity.
  • Participate in post-event evaluation and feedback sessions to assess event success and help the charity team identify areas for improvement.
  • Any other activities that help support our fundraising efforts

Admin Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers that can help with some or all of the following:

  • Support the Charity Team undertaking a variety of administrative duties.
  • To undertake filing as required.
  • To accurately input data entry using a variety of IT systems.
  • Assist in data analysis.
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with face-to-face enquiries and making calls as requested by the Charity.
  • Replenishing stock on information leaflets and ensure information distribution points are tidy and up to date.
  • To engage in any other appropriate activity under the supervision and direction of the Charity.
  • Offer advice based on professional experience (if required)

Volunteers will need to maintain strict confidentiality of all details appertaining to all and adhere to the charity's policies and procedures.
