Cluster Lead Pharmacist - Lincolnshire

To be based across HMP Lincoln, HMP Morton Hall, HMP North Sea Camp and Swinderby IRC.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Band 8b Cluster Lead Pharmacist to provide senior clinical and operational leadership across the Lincolnshire secure services cluster. The role covers HMP Lincoln, HMP Morton Hall, HMP North Sea Camp and Swinderby Immigration Removal Centre and is integral to ensuring safe, effective and legally compliant medicines use.

You will lead clinical pharmacy and medicines optimisation services, provide professional leadership to pharmacists and pharmacy teams, and ensure robust medicines governance arrangements, including Controlled Drugs and Home Office licence compliance. Working closely with the Deputy Chief Pharmacist – Specialist and Secured Care Delivery Pathway, you will support Trust priorities and service development across secure services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior clinical and professional leadership for pharmacy services across the Lincolnshire cluster
  • Lead medicines optimisation and clinical pharmacy services across primary care, mental health and substance misuse
  • Ensure robust medicines governance, including Controlled Drugs and regulatory compliance
  • Line manage and develop pharmacists and pharmacy teams within secure services
  • Lead audit, service improvement and change programmes to enhance quality and safety
  • Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to multidisciplinary teams and senior leaders
  • Represent pharmacy services at internal, regional and national forums

Qualifications

  • MPharm or equivalent Masters degree in Pharmacy
  • Current GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
  • Postgraduate clinical diploma or equivalent senior clinical experience
