Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Administrator to join an evolving and inclusive team providing administrative support to Adult Community Healthcare Services community nursing and urgent response teams across Northamptonshire. 

Applicants must have proven experience of working within a very busy office environment and be able to evidence how they manage workloads and deadlines. They must have proven experience of all Office applications including Outlook and Excel. They must be able to demonstrate their adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks and work within a very busy team/office environment.  Applicants must also feel comfortable working on their own as some bases act as satellite offices for nursing teams.

·   Band 3 Administrator role working 30 hours per week. Based at Campbell House Northampton.

·      A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for all posts as there is the expectation for staff to travel to other sites across the county as required.  Mileage expenses are paid for travel to other bases outside of your normal base site.

The post holder will work alongside an established Team, be flexible and have the ability to use their initiative to organise their own workload dependent of the priorities and requirements at the time. Multi-tasking, good organisational ability, strong IT skills, flexibility, are essential for this role

Essential criteria
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Substantial administrative experience providing a full spectrum of administrative duties.
  • Knowledge of a range of office procedures, IT software programs, Microsoft packages including Excel
  • Effective communication skills are essential, the post holder will be dealing with complex and sensitive information.
  • Experience of working individually and as a team
  • Ability to manage complex information and track actions
Desirable criteria
  • eRoster or equivalent shift rota experience
  • Previous experience of similar role within the public sector
  • Some experience in project management

Education

Essential criteria
  • NVQ Level 3 Business Administration or equivalent working experience
