Job overview

An exciting opportunity has become available in our CYP Community Eating Disorder Service for a Team Lead.  If you are a registered nurse or  allied health professional who has a passion for operational work this role is ideal for you. 

Main duties of the job

The Team Lead offers leadership and management to a growing mufti-disciplinary team.  The role involves oversight of operational aspects such as annual leave planning, sickness and absence, performance management and job planning.  In addition to the daily planning of service requirements, a large area of responsibility is having oversight of the demand and capacity in the team to ensure safe and effective services are being provided in collaboration with the Service Manager.

If you are an experienced clinician who has a passion for developing in management and has an interest in working with children & young people with an eating disorder this job will be ideal for you.

Essential criteria
  • RMN, RGN
  • Evidence of further training in leadership and management
  • Experience of managing teams
  • Insight into the complexities that the specialist service works with i.e emotional, physical and wider systemic approaches.
  • At least 2 years working at a B6
Desirable criteria
  • Demonstrates awareness of the development of eating disorder services
  • Awareness of managing demand and capacity
  • Demonstrates ability to manage people
