PA to Improvement Director

Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PA/Administrator to provide direct administrative support to our Improvement Director. This will include day to day administrative support, including complex diary management and email management. They will also provide administrative support to the projects the Improvement Director is leading and involved in.
We are seeking an individual who is a team player, compassionate and flexible in their approach and able to use initiative and judgement to organize their own workload.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide day to day administrative support, including complex diary management, email management, meeting planning and minute taking as and when needed.
The postholder will also provide administrative support to the projects that the Improvement Director is leading and involved in, which will vary.
The post holder will also need too:
Communicate effectively with a wide range of people and agencies, both internally and externally, either in person, on MS Teams or on the telephone.
To provide and receive information which may be of a confidential, sensitive or contentious nature.
The post holder will be required to meet NHS standards of confidentiality and information sharing.

Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
- NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience and/or RSA3 or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of using software programmes acquired through formal training to experience. These programmes include Outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint and teams
- Experience of high level diary and email management
- Experience of engaging and communicating effectively with people at all levels
Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
- Ability to undertake efficient and effective diary management at a senior level, ensuring preparation and briefing for attendance at meetings
- Ability to co-ordinate key meetings including agenda planning, formal minutes, and action tracking.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with excellent interpersonal skills
