We are East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS), an organisation focused on delivering a high standard of emergency and urgent care to our patients across the region.

Essential criteria

Degree in an associated IT/business subject or equivalent learning and experience. Prince 2 Practitioner qualified or equivalent learning and experience of a similar project methodology.

Desirable criteria

ITIL qualification Post graduate training in associated project management subject

Experience

Essential criteria

Extensive wide-ranging experience of project / programme management Experience of line management including appraisals and grievances Proven track record showing significant project delivery experience (including PRINCE or similar project methodology). Experience of running complex projects within a healthcare environment. Experience of delivering simultaneous projects with significant financial value Experience of managing project budgets Experience of managing and leading teams, chairing and facilitating meetings and acting as a motivator and communicator

Desirable criteria

Experience of working in a senior project management role within the NHS Experience of running complex Digital Services projects.

Knowledge

Essential criteria

Sound knowledge of NHS organisations and information requirements. Awareness of the business case process. Knowledge of budgetary management. Awareness of risk analysis and management Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Able to present highly complex technical issues to a non-technical audience via various media Excellent interpersonal skills Experienced technical/specification writing skills
