Job overview

As Digital Project Manager, you will drive the management and delivery of multiple digital projects, ensuring they are planned, resourced, and successfully delivered. Reporting to the Digital Transformation Programme Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders, lead project delivery, and play an integral role in delivering the Trust’s digital strategy.

This role offers a chance to develop and refine your project management skills, from risk analysis and budgeting to stakeholder engagement. You will be integral in ensuring the seamless transition of projects into operational support, championing best practice and driving forward digital innovation across the trust.

Working within a supportive NHS environment, you will have opportunities for professional development and play a vital part in enhancing patient care through innovative digital solutions.

Main duties of the job

As Digital Project Manager, you will shape the successful delivery of multiple Digital Services projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and recognised project methodologies. You will lead the creation of essential documentation, including business cases, Project Initiation Documents, and risk and issue logs, guiding teams to stay on track, within budget, and focused on measurable benefits.

Communication will be key, as you collaborate with stakeholders across the Trust, provide clear project updates, and act as a trusted adviser on best practice and governance structures.

You will oversee the effective assignment of resources and tasks, offering direction and support to project teams as they navigate complex technical challenges. By embedding consistent standards and compliance with change management processes, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement in project delivery.

With your guidance, lessons learned will be captured, shared, and used to refine future approaches, reinforcing a cycle of ongoing development.

This role will see you cultivate robust partnerships, champion collaboration, and enable robust management of projects. You will ensure that projects deliver tangible outcomes to support EMAS’s strategic outcomes.
