We are looking to appoint undergraduates, ahead of qualification in summer 2023, and are jointly undertaking a UK Radiography Graduate recruitment event, at the National Centre for Sports and Exercise Medicine (NCSEM), within Loughborough University.

Working at NUH
Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) is one of the biggest and busiest acute Trusts in England. The QSI accredited radiology department employs 650 staff, seeing 500,000 patients per year across the Queen’s Medical Centre, City Hospital and NUH Treatment Centre.
Our wide range of regional specialty services cover neurosciences, Nottingham Children’s Hospital, an Emergency Department (level 1 Trauma centre), cardiac/thoracic surgery, oncology, renal, urology, and stroke services.
NUH Radiology offer a full induction with a 12 month supported preceptorship programme. Here, you will participate in a broad rotation in all areas of plain film, theatres, and fluoroscopy. UHDB provides services across a wide geographical area, from South Derbyshire down to Southeast Staffordshire. We are heavily investing in new and modern equipment and Community Diagnostic Centres, which will provide many opportunities and variation within your working rotation across our services.
As a newly qualified radiographer, you will be supported for the first 18 months through a preceptorship scheme. We undertake advanced practice and have a growing AP team led by a Consultant Radiographer.

The East Midlands Radiology Undergraduate recruitment event will take place on Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th April 2023 at the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine, within Loughborough University (UK). This is the sixth consecutive year we have run this event and it again will take the form of an assessment centre.
Candidates will be required to attend in person to the NCSEM on a single occasion across any of the three days. Each candidate will be required to attend the assessment centre for around two hours. There will be allocated time slots available on either day for selection by candidates on successful invitation to interview. These will issued on a first come first serve basis.
Candidates invited to interview will be fully briefed on requirements for attendance and specifics of the assessment centre day.
Please note **No alternative interview dates or online interviews will be provided for this event due to the clinical requirements of the objective structured practical examination assessments**
- BSC/ MSC in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Has or will be able to achieve HCPC Registration
- Able to work a shift pattern covering 24 hours/ 7 days a week
- DEMONSTRABLE EXPERIENCE OF WORKING/TRAINING IN NHS RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT
- experience working in ED imaging departments
- Able to wear lead aprons for long periods of time
- Manual handling skills
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
