Facilities Assistant

NHS AfC: Band 2

Trosolwg o'r swydd

We are looking to appoint a trustworthy person who can work in a demanding and busy hospital environment, who must be flexible, hardworking and energetic.

Arnold Lodge is a Medium Secure Forensic Mental Health hospital.  We provide care and treatment for individuals who have been admitted to us from other secure hospitals or from the prison service.  Because of the specialised nature of the care, we are part of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust although we are based in Leicester.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

You will be part of the Facilities Services providing a cleaning service to the wards and other departments. The role will also allow flexibility to cover general catering duties in the assistance of meal provision to the patients.

Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. Applicants requiring a Skilled Worker Visa can determine the likelihood of obtaining a Certificate of Sponsorship against the relevant criteria here https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa
