Divisional Pathway Lead - Lincolnshire x1 (Maternity cover)

We are East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS), an organisation focused on delivering a high standard of emergency and urgent care to our patients across the region.
The East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EMAS) provides Emergency, Urgent and Non-Emergency pre-hospital care and transport across six counties (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire & Rutland and Northamptonshire).

The key aspect of the role will be as follows:
- Improve utilisation of pathways
- Education of staff regarding new pathways
- Work with external colleagues to generate new pathways
- Represent the interests of EMAS at multiple forums
- Provide ideas and policy input to improve hospital avoidance
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for 1 x maternity cover secondments ,to take a lead role in alternate pathway development within the Lincolnshire Division of EMAS.
This will consist of 1 x 10 month secondments roles. .
The key aspect of the role will be as follows:
- Improve utilisation of pathways
- Education of staff regarding new pathways
- Work with external colleagues to generate new pathways
- Represent the interests of EMAS at multiple forums
- Provide ideas and policy input to improve hospital avoidance
This role is flexible in nature and will be based between home working and fixed EMAS sites across Lincolnshire.
An expectation to complete 1 x clinical shift per week as an operational clinician.
