CSW CHILDREN'S COMMUNITY CLINICS/CDC

Job overview
To support Community Paediatric clinics at 18 sites across Nottingham.
To support CDC with new clinics to include QB, Phlebotomy and ECG.
Part time role to be worked Mon to Fri between the hours of 0830 to 1630. 16 to 25 per week negotiable.
CSW to work at Patch clinics working with Paediatricians, nursing and CSW Team.
Main duties of the job
Set up and clear away.
Stocking up equipment and paperwork.
Clinical checks including manual BP and pulse, measurements.
Some admin and IT responsibilities.
Chaperoning and distraction.
At the CDC Mandatory daily checks and Link roles.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
We require the staff member to be flexible and able to manage clinics without supervision. Be able to deal with situations that may arise during a busy clinic. Have some experience working with children with additional needs. Be prepared to complete some training to be able to support our families with the investigations required for the children.
Must be able to travel to different sites as per rota.
Alongside the above your IT responsibilities will be to input data onto a patient file and up date patient demographic details.

- DEMONSTRATE CLEAR AND EFFECTIVE WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS. GOOD TELEPHONE SKILLS.
Desirable criteria
- DEMONSTRATE COMPUTER LITERACY AND USE OF IT SKILLS
Experience
Essential criteria
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS, PATIENTS OR CLIENTS IN A WORK ENVIRONMENT.

- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN HEALTH OR SOCIAL CARE SETTING.
