Job overview

Are you a Registered Nurse looking to make a real impact in a supportive and dynamic environment? Join our Minster Ward team at Sherwood Forest Hospitals and become part of a compassionate, patient-focused care team.

Minster Ward is a 24-bed surgical unit, comprising 4 bays and 3 side rooms, where you'll work closely with our established multidisciplinary team. We are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, ensuring that each patient’s experience is marked by comfort, compassion and personalised attention.

As a Registered Nurse on Minster Ward, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a busy surgical ward. You’ll collaborate with a skilled and diverse team including surgeons, physiotherapists, healthcare assistants and support staff to provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures.

Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients with varying needs by ensuring they receive tailored treatment in a professional and compassionate manner. You’ll have the opportunity to expand your clinical expertise in a fast-paced environment, with continuous support for your ongoing professional development.
