Job overview
We are looking for a well-organised and proactive administrator to support meetings, communications and events across Primary Care Networks in Nottingham. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be helping teams stay organised, making sure meetings run smoothly, and supporting the planning of training sessions and events.
You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team, working with colleagues across different roles and organisations. If you enjoy organising, communicating clearly, and making sure things get done on time, this could be a great fit for you.
Main duties of the job
Meeting Support and Coordination
- Organise regular meetings – including sending invites, booking rooms and confirming attendance
- Prepare agendas, chase updates, and follow up with key team members
- Take accurate meeting minutes and action logs
- Share meeting notes in the correct place (e.g. Microsoft Teams or other platforms)
- Ensure all meeting records are completed and shared within agreed timeframes
- Work with a range of people – including clinical leads, service managers and support teams
Event Planning and Delivery
- Support the planning and delivery of events such as training sessions, webinars and showcases
- Send out invitations and promotional materials
- Liaise with speakers and manage bookings
- Prepare event resources like agendas, workbooks or posters
- Help on the day of events – welcoming attendees, setting up rooms or managing online platforms
Communication and Admin Support
- Support regular communications with primary care teams
- Share updates and resources across the personalised care workforce
- Help produce and send posters, newsletters and resource packs
- Keep clear records of activity and support follow-up after meetings or events
- Liaise with practices and PCN teams to support coordination of services
