Ensure the highest standards of care and safety within the Elective Orthopaedic theatres and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary teams, implement and maintain systems and processes which ensure standards are maintained

Main duties of the job

Support colleagues and foster a learning culture which values high quality safe patient care

Work in partnership with Orthopaedic colleagues to ensure multi-disciplinary team work in achieving agreed, common goals / outcomes across the elective Orthopaedic service

Flexibility and strong organisational skills

Enthusiastic and motivated to improve services

Effective communication skills

Ability to interact effectively with peers and junior and senior colleagues  

Willingness to learn a variety of theatre skills and engage in departmental link roles

Education

  • GCSE Maths and English (Grades A-C or Levels 4-9) or Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience
