Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Paediatric Renal Dietetic Team at NUH for a 0.8 WTE Highly Specialist Dietitian.

Dietitians are well-respected and valued members of the paediatric renal multi-professional team (MDT).

The paediatric renal service at NUH supports a complex group of children and young people with renal diseases spanning the East Midlands, East of England and South Yorkshire (EMEESY) children’s renal and urology network.  The service includes in-patients on the paediatric renal ward, neonatal, critical care and haemodialysis unit, and out-patient chronic kidney disease, peritoneal dialysis and transplant clinics, requiring expertise working with paediatric nutritional support, parenteral nutrition, and acute and chronic patients and their families. The postholder will work closely with other paediatric renal dietitians, the renal dietetic technician, and the wider renal MDT.
