Are you looking to develop your Acute and Rehab inpatient neurological clinical skills and knowledge as a Band 6? We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work on this prestigious unit at NUH.
This static post is located at the Queens Medical Centre Campus. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance their knowledge and experience in some of the following areas: inpatient neurosurgery and neurosciences including the NSPU at QMC.
You will work with and learn from an outstanding clinical specialist, advanced practitioners and team leaders whose breadth of experience rivals that of any other trust in the UK.
The successful candidate will put the patient at the centre of everything they do and will have opportunity to experience the full breadth of the neurosciences pathway using your skills and knowledge to work well within a team.
We are seeking a keen professional, who is looking for an opportunity to learn and develop new clinical skill to further their career. We can offer a supportive environment, training, the chance to develop communication and team-working skills, manage your own time and workload. There is opportunity to lead and support band 5’s, support staff and students on clinical placements allowing you to develop your leadership, management and teaching skills.
NUH is a large acute teaching hospital and this post will provide you with the opportunity to work in fast paced, highly specialist areas, managing high demand, supporting a huge variety of patients working alongside experienced clinicians in the MDT. NUH therapy services is a supportive department with a robust appraisal process and many learning opportunities for our staff.
There is a requirement to participate in weekend and on-call duties.
