Specialist Physiotherapist: Paediatric MSK and Rheumatology rotation
Band 6
Trosolwg o'r swydd
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Children’s physiotherapy team working in our Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic and Rheumatology Service.
Due to promotion we have a permanent full time (37.5hrs) specialist post in this rotation, covering:
MSK OPs (you may be required to support IP's as capacity allows)
Rheumatology (which includes a small MSK OP caseload).
You will rotate between the two areas every 12 months.
The post aligns to the MSK Paediatric out of hours rota, which currently covers on-calls till 8pm on a Friday and Monday, and Sunday morning, and weekend shift Saturday morning.
We are a supportive team that works very closely with the wider MDT, including consultants, OTs and nurses. The role will predominantly include independent caseload management of outpatient work, alongside some clinic work. At times depending on service capacity you may also be required to support some inpatient caseloads too . This will involve the assessment and management of a range of children and young people with musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and inflammatory conditions.
The role is suitable for an experienced band 5 or existing band 6 looking for a new challenge.
You must have experience working in an MSK outpatient environment and some paediatric experience would be useful but not essential.
As this is a specialist team, training and support would be available once in post.
