Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist within Liaison Psychiatry based at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham. The post holder will provide a high level, efficient, comprehensive, and confidential admin support service to the Liaison Psychiatry Team within Older People Care Unit in Nottinghamshire. The role requires an individual who has a flexible approach to work and the ability to prioritise. This will include maintaining patient related records/databases, making appointments, and meeting and greeting patients.
Main duties of the job
To work within the Outpatients Department at Queens Medical Centre supporting patients attending their appointments. You will be expected to work as part of an administrative team supporting the full MDT.
To undertake office duties including diary management and message management, opening and distributing mail, operation of patient information systems, dealing with telephone calls and enquiries, production of documents, typing and photocopying, collating of documents and electronic filing as well as general administration support services.

Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa.
Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.
