Hopewood Hospital in Sherwood, Nottingham has 32 beds across 3 wards and is based on site with an education facility for our inpatients, a CAMHS community base with specialist teams and both inpatient and community perinatal teams.
Pegasus Ward provides a highly specialist service, to young people aged 13 to 18, who have an eating disorder and often other co-morbidities. It is a fast-paced environment with a supportive and experienced multi-disciplinary team.

We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate qualified Occupational Therapist to come and join our team. You will need to be able to work autonomously, with relevant transferable skills and experience to deliver a high-quality Occupational Therapy service to meet the complex needs of the young people. On Pegasus ward the Occupational Therapist is a core member of the MDT offering core aspects of treatment including social eating, support with sensory needs, ADLs and group work.
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
