Bank Facilities Assistant :- To provide assistance within Bank Facilities Services catering team.
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Catering Team at various sites in Mansfield and community sites who will be responsible for catering for all our patient and visitors.
Previous experience of working within a catering environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
We have in-house training to help your personal development plans and will support you with all of your training needs.
Your primary base will be as per discussion at interview, however multi-site work between sites will be required.
Please note that this post does not meet the pay or skill level required for a Skilled worker visa.
Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary / skill level is below the minimum required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.

Main duties of the job
Facilities Assistant
To provide assistance within Facilities Services Department as and when required
Facilities Assistants- should have the ability to work effectively and flexibly, both alone and as part of a team, maintaining a high standard of work will be essential.
Working hours various shifts between 06:30-18:30 Monday to Friday including weekends and Bank holidays

Facilities provides a wide range of non clinical support services to patients, staff and visitors. The services provided include Housekeeping, Linen Services Catering, Retail, Stores/Portering.

- An understanding of cleanliness and good hygiene practices
Desirable criteria
- Recognised catering ,cleaning or support services qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
- Able to carry out instructions and duties as detailed in the job description
Desirable criteria
- Experience or working within a catering, cleaning or portering environment
- Experience of working within healthcare environment which may include: a catering, cleaning or portering function
- Experience of working within a food safety management system (HACCP)
Skills

- Ability to use own initiative to manage the requirements of the job
