Job overview

Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated validators to join the Corporate Planned Care Team based at King's Mill Hospital. 

The accuracy, timeliness, consistency and relevance of data and information are vitally important for the Trust, not only to secure the correct income levels but also to inform decision-making regarding the future of clinical services and patient safety. Data produced by the Trust informs secondary users within the NHS, Government and external bodies to produce statistics (such as standardised mortality rates) and monitor clinical outcomes and key quality indicators.

This role will primarily involve validating the Referral to Treatment (RTT) and DM01 diagnostic Patient Tracking Lists (PTLs); identifying and correcting any pathway data errors using Careflow, Dragon, ORION and a range of other SFH clinical systems.  The post holder will be logical in their approach and able to identify individual needs of patients to progress them through their care pathway.

Working pattern will be 5 days per week; Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9.00 and 17.00.
