Join our Team as a Part-Time Paediatric Optometrist!

As a part-time optometrist, you will play a pivotal role in providing top-notch optometry services within our esteemed hospital. Embrace the responsibility of assessing, diagnosing, and expertly managing the treatment of patients referred to our esteemed Hospital Orthoptic/Optometry service. Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of Optometry, Optics, & Ophthalmology
  • Knowledge of Orthoptics
Desirable criteria
  • Computer/key board skills
  • Knowledge of hospital optometry/orthoptics

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Batchelor of Science in Optometry or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the General Optical Council
Desirable criteria
  • Additional training relating to orthoptics or learning disability

Further Training

Essential criteria
  • Continuing Professional Development
Desirable criteria
  • experience of clinical audit

Experience

  • Experience working as an optometrist
